Black Key Everyday carry, made plain Ask what is in stock

Ask

Ask what is in stock

Tell us the object, the material or ruling, and where it is going. We reply by email with what is on the shelf right now, the measurements and weight of that exact piece, and how to go ahead if you want it. Nothing is charged by this form.

The form

Five questions and a message

The fields are the ones the reply actually needs. Leave the message blank if the fields say it all.

For example: brass · natural tan · dot grid
United States addresses only, for now.
A key's head thickness, a card count, a question about a part: whatever the reply should cover.

After sending

What happens next

  1. Your message lands in the one workshop mailbox, [email protected], with the fields laid out in a table.
  2. We read the mailbox Monday to Friday, nine to five Pacific time, and answer in the order messages arrive.
  3. The reply says whether the piece is on the shelf, gives its measurements and weight, and names the next run if it is not.
  4. If you want to go ahead, the reply explains how. A piece is only ever charged for once you have agreed to one that exists.
  5. If you asked about a part or a repair, the reply says what we can send and whether the piece needs to come back to the bench.

Sending the form is a question, not an order and not a contract. You can write again to change or withdraw anything in it. The address above is the only address we use; nothing arrives from any other.

Mailbox

[email protected]
The same address the form delivers to. Write directly if you prefer.

Where

A workshop in Portland, Oregon. We ship to addresses across the United States and nowhere else at present.

Not a shop

There is no counter and no pick-up. Every piece leaves by post, packed in plain card with its specification sheet.
